SITUATION

Whitsand Bay Holiday Park is situated on the Devon/ Cornwall border, just a few miles west of Plymouth and east of Looe. Hidden in the eastern corner of Cornwall, the holiday park enjoys stunning and contrasting views in all directions. Breathtaking sea views across the four mile sweep of coastline accompany spectacular countryside views across the Tamar estuary, Plymouth against the spectacular backdrop of Dartmoor. The area is particularly attractive to families who enjoy the outdoors. You will see surfers along the beach at all times of the year, divers explore the local wrecks of HMS Scylla and the James Egan Layne, whilst fishing is enjoyed off the rocks at Rame, and coarse fishing from a nearby lake. Walkers can explore the coastal paths, and paragliders use the adjacent hill to launch. The nearest beach to the park is Tregonhawke beach which is a 10 minutes walk down (20 minutes back up!) via the cliff path.
